27/06/2026: Absolutely perfect. We were greeted very warmly by a very nice young waitress. We had no trouble conversing in English. Inexpensive by Danish standards, similar to Germany. The food arrived very quickly and was amazing. I never would have expected it. The quality was absolutely top-notch, and the price was fantastic. We'd gladly come back anytime! 👍 👍 👍

Perhaps the explanation is less necessary staff when it is full. A single minus is the light in the room - at least on a sunny day - which seems dim. I could hardly see my partner when I sat against the window facing the street

25/07/2026: One Saturday afternoon we happened to pass by this ice cream shop. There wasn't a long line, so we got there quickly. We each ordered an ice cream cone with 2 scoops. We were able to split the scoops, so we could have 4 flavors instead of 2. The scoops were a little smaller. One of us got pistachio, mango, passion fruit and raspberry, while the other got licorice, strawberry, salted caramel and mint. It all tasted really good and the cones were crispy and had a good flavor. We paid 92 kr for 2 ice creams, but they were worth the money. We highly recommend a visit or more here.

12/02/2026: It's always nice and quiet in Café Aroma. You can smell their freshly roasted coffee, and it's the best coffee flavor in town, I think. The coffee latte is especially creamy and delicious. Homemade sweets and varied dishes that taste good. Everything is invitingly arranged. The staff is the sweetest and most talented. I'm a top fan. 12/04/2026: For my 75th birthday, we picked up all the food at Frokostbixen by appointment. Starter, main course, delicious cheeses - all with different breads and wonderful salads, as well as a fantastic cake for dessert. Everything was well prepared and super packaged for transport - easy to get to, super tasty and in ample quantity. From all the guests and me 5 stars - thank you very much Rasmus.

31/05/2026: We used Boulangerie in Svendborg for catering for our son's confirmation, where they provided an Asian buffet - and we were really impressed. The food tasted fantastic, there was plenty for all guests, and the quality was top notch. At the same time, the price was very reasonable, which certainly counts. The buffet was set up really nicely, so everything looked both inviting and delicious. It did a lot for the overall impression of the day. All in all, a really good experience, and we would highly recommend Boulangerie for larger events.

29/04/2026: Really nice staff, very thoughtful. ☺️ BMO, is super nice and can recommend their Flat white, both with regular milk and with oats 💌 For 2 we got away with 172kr. Very affordable.

23/07/2026: If you're a coffee snob like me, you can definitely drink coffee here. I've been here twice, one time was ok and the second time was really good. They have beer from Svendborgsund; it's good.

11/05/2026: On Thursday, May 7, 12 of us gathered for a cozy dinner at SvendborgSund. We had booked a table for 6:30 p.m. where we started with a drink, while we ordered food from the May menu, which was Svendborg Ham with White Asparagus with truffle mayonnaise, salad and pickled onions, and then Beef Fillet Steak with Celery Puree, Asparagus Saute, baby carrots, roasted potatoes and creamy tarragon sauce. One of the participants says he is a wine connoisseur, so he chose a lovely white wine for the starter and a delicious red wine for the main course. When the chef was ready with the starter, we were nicely and politely asked by a very professional waitress to take a seat so that we could be served. It was a really delicious starter, and then came the main course, a lovely juicy steak cooked just right, so all in all it was a super good experience, so we highly recommend SvendborgSund the next time you are in town and have a super good experience.
