Bone's Odense

We have probably been here over 100 times - the most recent (for this review) was October 2025. The food is as always perfect and it is much appreciated, because it is not always experienced in that price range. However, the food took a long time to arrive, despite there being probably only 5 guests in the entire restaurant - which makes our exit before 18:30 a little more challenging. The same joy/pride from the staff is no longer experienced as for example. 2 years ago, I think something has changed behind the scenes. This review is an edit, where a single star is removed. In 2 out of the last 2 times we have been there, they have forgotten the 15% Early Bird discount, the first time I had to discover it myself, the 2nd time they discovered it themselves - BUT only because I asked for a receipt. SO my recommendation to everyone reading this is, GET a receipt so you can check if you are getting the discounts you are supposed to. I don't think they do it on purpose, but it doesn't change the fact that if you don't ask for a receipt, but just pay, you probably won't get your discount. Another negative thing is their soft ice cream machine in the middle of the restaurant, which is simply so noisy that you have to talk to each other during the breaks the machine has.

One of my favorite places to eat. I love their spareribs and potatoes. It's always quiet, good service and good food. When the food hasn't been optimal, they've been able to do something about it.

Great restaurant, very warm welcome, lots of good meats, there is a children's menu, you choose from a menu by checking what you want to eat. The decor is nice and the prices are fair for what you get on the plate, knowing that ice cream is free when you order a dish. I recommend it.

The steak was very good. Baked potatoes are ad libitum, when one orders a main course 🙂 And there is a chance to get the meal for free - just roll the dice!

You could tell they were busy...but the baked potatoes had been overcooked, and one onion ring was so hard you couldn't cut it. And the garlic bread had been baked too long. The corn on the cob had been overcooked too.

I was over at a trampoline camp and we took the kids there. The service was impeccable the food was gorgeous and nothing was too much for the staff. They had goodie bags for the kids which they loved and every plate was empty
