Bone's Aalborg

Yesterday my wife, our two children and I went to Bones in Skalborg. We have been there before with success – and fortunately it was again. We went classic with a good mix of Bones legs, ribeye and chicken tenders, combined with various side orders, salad bar and of course soft ice cream. And I have to say: It is solid. It tastes good. It is right off the road. There is not much controversy – you get what you expect, and it works. The meat was juicy, the food hot, and everything worked. The salad bar was filled quickly, and it was always nice and inviting. The waitress was sweet and accommodating, and you feel very welcome. For the kids it is a paradise. They love to get their own soda and make their own soft ice cream – and that is part of the experience. It is very American, and it “basks” through, but that is exactly what you come for. There is plenty of space in the restaurant, and it was easy to book a table. I made a reservation on Friday and was able to get a table on Saturday without any problems. So it's not hard to get a seat, even though it was still pretty full – which also shows that it's a popular place. All in all, a really nice family experience. You know what you're getting, and they deliver. Can definitely be recommended from here – especially for families with children

Salad bar should be improved otherwise good. However very noisy

Delicious food, unfortunately the time we were supposed to eat was a fully booked day so the service and atmosphere were way too stressed and pressured. Should probably get more staff or reduce the number of customers/tables

Nice food, but a bit fluctuating quality. One steak was nice another had way too much fat. One time the fries were not quite warm and a bit dry, and the next portion a bit pale. This Saturday the service could have been more attentive. Difficult with a bench for a round table when you go out to the salad bar.

Always really well prepared food and lovely salads.

We waited a long time and were then told that it was because there were only two of them on duty.
