The steaks were on the very red side, so they went back on the grill, which made a bit of a (lot of) mess about who the different steaks belonged to. Otherwise, everything was ok.

Excellent idea with the indoor and outdoor pétanque courts. The drinks menu is original and the service is very friendly.

Good food, although nothing extraordinary and relatively small portions. The service was not the best, as our waiter didn't seem to know anything about anything really, and they got an order wrong as well. Also, they were sold out (at 17:00) of Moules Marinieres (which is what we came for) and carbonated water (?!). Pretty good experience nonetheless.

Bustling petanquebar with some food options. We went for the mussels which were very small in size (you can opt for small or large portion: large is very big, small is apero format), gem salad and a massive portion of french fries

20/07/2026: Gravens Rand is a local gem in Frederiksberg with real heart and soul, perfectly blending Irish pub identity with traditional Danish bodega vibes. It is completely smoke-free inside without losing the bodega vibe, making it just as great for a date night as it is for hanging out with friends. You can sit outside in their cosy garden or stay indoors where they have darts and plenty of board games to play. Hands down, they serve the best Guinness in Denmark; all their drinks are actually fairly priced, and they often have great deals! The staff genuinely cares about the place and its guests, even remembering what the regulars drink, and they host awesome events like their Sunday music sessions. Honestly, part of me wants to keep this spot a secret, but it is just too good not to share.
