It is a scandal that Mielcke and Hurtigkarl have not long been awarded Michelin stars

Vi var til selskab i en af bygningerne udenfor selve restauranten. Det blev kørt rigtig godt hele vejen igennem,der var virkelig styr på det hele. Flot opdækning, god mad, venlig og kompetent betjening.

Whew, what a rollercoaster We had a pleasant time at Mielcke og Hurtigkarl, the waiters are very kind and knowledgeable. The food, however, was a real rollercoaster. Some of the dishes were genius, others to our taste was downright bland and, in all honesty, uninspiring. Especially the cheese and chocolate dessert really didn't work for us (and we love both cheese and chocolate normally). However, the coconut ice cream was probably the best coconut dessert we have ever had. The wine and kombucha parings were delightful, and I can't say a single bad thing about those. In some instances, the drinks we had were much more interesting than the dish they were paired with. We may have just been unlucky with the current menu, but overall, we were left with a feeling of slight disappointment. I'd still recommend trying this place out, as the few dishes that worked did so very, very well, and probably worth the visit just for those. However, you may be in for a wild ride.

This is still one of Copenhagen's best restaurants, and easily on par with the 1-star restaurants in the city. Excellent food, which is accompanied by super wines on the wine menu. Friendly, competent service. Beautiful room with really good acoustics. Huge recommendation!

In the clear top 3 of my best food experiences in my life. Terribly well put together menu, and the little Asian twist on all dishes is brilliantly good.

We had a wonderful time at the restaurant. Its beautifully decorated and has the highest service. Food and wine pairing were fantastic too. Props to Enzo for the explications.

Beautiful place, very skilled waiters and the food is wonderful - even better than the Michelin restaurants we have tried. The price is high, but it is worth it and the setting is very romantic, calm and atmospheric.

We sat outside by the bonfires and had snacks and champagne. It was so wonderful, and the French sommelier was really nice and knowledgeable. We went inside for the main dinner which consisted of several wonderful dishes. We had not been before, so we were a bit uncertain about the concept; but the waiters took us elegantly through the evening. When we left, we were provided with the menu of all we had eaten. I personally would have preferred to have had that upon arrival, so that I could better follow all the dishes. It was actually slightly confusing for me not knowing what’s next and how many were dishes left etc. Anyhow, Mielcke & Hurtigkarl definitely is one of Copenhagen’s best restaurant - highly recommendable!
