I read about this place in the Danish daily newspaper Berlingske a year ago and always wanted to try it . From the outside you would not notice this place as a good restaurant but it changes when coming inside . Really cosy place with paintings from Christianshavn on the walls , turned from an old bodega into a classic bistro . The smørrebrød they served was outstanding, both in presentation and taste . No need to visit the known places for this food downtown - this place is a hidden gem that can do it at least as good as the old established ones . We had one smørrebrød with herring , one with avocado and 2 tarteletter (not sure how this is called in English ) with chicken stew.

Very cozy premises, the smørrebrød was fresh and delicious and the service was fine. All in all a place I will return to.

Really good smørrebrød, classic with a little twist. Good selection of schnapps and beer. Very good value for money! We will come again!

A very cute restaurant, perfect for discovering Smørebrødes, typical dishes of Danish gastronomy! Be careful, the bill can quickly rise! But it’s worth the experience!

Fantastic a la carte sandwiches. Custom selection and each of the three pieces we got were super delicious. Ending with a beautiful Happy Birthday apple cake And nice service Will definitely come again

Really good smørrebrød, but the service was somewhat impersonal.

Vi fejrede mine forældres 58 års bryllupsdag her. Pænt og hyggeligt sted. Rent og pænt. Lækkert smørrebrød, 2 stykker var rigeligt.skønne desserter. Sød og venlig betjening. Alt spillede. Vi havde alle en dejlig oplevelse.🥰
