Really good food and atmosphere, we where there for our companies Xmas dinner. How ever it was a bit chaotic when I checked in. First the receptionist said room 24 instead of 42, not a big problem it can happen if you switch between Danish and english. Then room 42 had no key so they moved me to room 1, no problem they solved this quick. BUT when I went to bed very late at around 0:30, someone was moving furniture around in the room over me for at least half an hour. Who does that in the middle of the night?

There was one minus and a very big one. We were a large group. The food was paid in advance, but we had to pay for drinks individually and that via room number/name, but there was no control at all and the prices of the drinks were not cheap. If I were to come there again for an overnight stay, I insist that it be with payment with what was ordered, so that you don't end up paying for something you haven't drunk. It gives a bad atmosphere when the accounts don't match, both ways. Boring on an otherwise good experience. It's generally a bit cold in the place, but it's a really cozy place.

Beautiful surroundings I was there for a party and didn't stay there

Rustic but very cozy little place. Small cozy rooms with lots of charm. The rooms are spartan but okay.

Bybjerggaard's restaurant is really delicious. Good atmosphere, cozy interior, relaxed and sweet staff. We tried their 7-course meal with wine. Really delicious with starters, main courses and dessert that you can combine as you wish. You can feel that the chef has a handle on the flavors. The wines also went well. It was a surprisingly good dining experience at a very reasonable price.
