My wife and I had sandwiches and open sandwiches a week ago before the ferry and immediately agreed that we should stop by again today before the return trip to Copenhagen. Just as good an experience today as last time. Really delicious food, cozy atmosphere and location. You can taste that many of the things are made from scratch and good ingredients are used. Friendly staff too. Highly recommended.

Super cute little cafe! We had the tofu salad, and it was one of the best I've had in a long time. I definitely recommend it!

What a lovely experience to have lunch at Bawærk. The fish plate was superb and you could taste that everything was prepared from scratch. The same could be said about the beer bread, which was completely (actually better) than our mother made it. The service was top notch with great presence and we felt very welcome. Huge recommendation from here 👍

We were once again enjoying our baked goods and, as always, very satisfied. It is a must for us to go there at least once on vacation. Even if the journey from Thorup Strand is a little longer this time. The food was again great and homemade. Here, emphasis is placed on ecologically produced goods. These also come from the region. I had the fish platter and my wife had the brunch platter. Plus fresh bread. And it was super tasty. We look forward to September and December when we will be back.
