Cafe Aarøgaard Haderslev

We were there with our 9-month-old daughter on the last day of the season. We received a very warm welcome. The host immediately offered us a suitable seat and provided a high chair and a children's drinking cup. The food (a burger with fries and breaded fish with fries) was delicious and beautifully presented. The side dishes, main course, and vegetables were very fresh, and we enjoyed it immensely. We would gladly come back.

Beautifully located, quiet, super friendly and the best food of our Denmark holiday

The food was absolutely fantastic. Made with fresh ingredients and extremely tasty. The ambiance, both inside and out, could be improved a bit. The service was pleasant.

We were there with a large group and were seated immediately – superbly organized! The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was consistently delicious, and I particularly like the aioli: although different from what I've had before, it went perfectly with the fries. We'd love to go back!

The food on the menu sounded delicious, but unfortunately, we couldn’t order hot food anymore because the kitchen was closed—even though it was only 2:40 PM and the people at the next table were still allowed to order 5 minutes before us.
The cake we ordered instead was quite okay.
Unfortunately, the restrooms were very unclean.

Nice food. Their burger and nachos are really good, and their shooting stars are nice. The waiters are nice and friendly, but the service was a bit forgetful when we were there. They forgot our drink and forgot to give cutlery even after the food had arrived. They have a lot of good children's activities like games and drawing paper, but we weren't offered it, so the only reason we know about it was because we saw it on the way in. Again nice service and good food, which they also charge a bit high prices for. So 5 stars at those prices can only be given if everything is a little better in the cupboard.
