Cafe Arthur Ærø

"Café" is the wrong word, even though they certainly serve coffee and ice cream. It's much more of a classic Danish restaurant right on the harbor, offering the usual (fried and fishy) dishes. It's very small; we couldn't get a table, so we can't comment on the quality of the food. Unfortunately, they don't have hot dogs during the off-season. The selection of vegetarian dishes could be better; there was only one option (a burger). The lady behind the counter was very friendly.

The hamburger was okay, the vegetarian burger not so much. The burgers looked better than they actually were. At 200 DKK, the price-performance ratio was not appropriate. The snack bar and the food preparation didn't seem very hygienic. The construction work in the harbor made the noise level quite unpleasant. We won't be back.

We were there today and had a very delicious and plentiful meal. The dog was also welcome and even got water.

A really delicious Havneskud can be recommended from here.
