04/09/2025: the pizza was delicious i came here with my mum and as italians IT WAS FANTASTIC really reccomand it for everybody who wants a good pizza,pasta or calzoni , MOLTO MOLTO BUONO!!
02/09/2025: If you visit Hamlet's castle in Helsingør, I recommend taking a stroll through the town center to get a glimpse of this charming town.
Moreover, if you get hungry, you can't go wrong with pizza or pasta at Martinellis.
Located in the center of Helsingør, next to the square and pedestrian area and a stone's throw from the sea and Kronborg Castle—where Shakespeare set Hamlet—Martinellis is an authentic Italian pizzeria-trattoria (with an Italian pizza chef), where a welcoming and familiar atmosphere is accompanied by reasonable prices and, above all, really good food (let me say this, as Italian).
In addition to a selection of first courses, Martinellis also offers salads, sandwiches, hvidløgsbrød, and various snacks; but, what really stands out is the pizza.
There is a wide choice, with many flavors with or without tomatoes. Most of all, in addition to the variety, there is the unmistakable flavor of a dish prepared with care and using top-quality ingredients.
As for seating, the restaurant may seem small at first glance but, in addition to the tables inside, there are also tables at the front and in a cozy courtyard, which can be accessed from a side entrance. If you prefer, you can also take your food away and eat it in the large pedestrian square in front of the restaurant.
A recommended stop if you are passing through Helsingør.
