This little café made my day in the rain. Amazing staff and amazing butterscotch bread. The Irish coffee was also good. Felt so welcome even though you were alone.

Har prøvet denne cafe nogle gange efterhånden, og altid har det været en god oplevelse, maden er frisk og velsmagende, personalet venligt trods de ind imellem har meget travlt.

Enjoyable first smorrebrod in Denmark. Friendly, helpful staff, fresh ingredients making for tasty sandwiches accompanied by good local beer. We were sat on one of several outdoor tables on the pedestrianised street so good for people watching.

01/12/2024: Lovely place with fine Danish classic dishes. Cozy outdoor seating and lovely indoor bar.
18/10/2024: We had lunch at the Københavneren restaurant – one of the oldest addresses in the city, dating from 1861 – during our visit to Helsingør in May 2024. Typical Danish tavern/brewery atmosphere, with an efficient welcome and fast service. The menu offers all Danish specialties, accompanied by photos to avoid any hesitation – a very nice plus. The cuisine is traditional, unpretentious, but well executed and tasty. Ideal for a simple and delicious lunch. The quality/price ratio is quite reasonable, especially in a country where prices can quickly rise. A nice place to remember in Helsingør, perfect for a meal with friends or family after a day of visiting this charming coastal town.

21/10/2024: Super delicious little cafe with wonderful coffee and really good glögg. But their Belgian waffles are sexless, so dry and really boring....
05/10/2024: Friendly staff, good croissant sandwich and hot cocoa. Very nice seating area indoor and out.
