Steak sandwich with brown gravy is worth a detour

High expectations, high exceptional quality! When you set out to eat one of the nation's best steak sandwiches, the expectations are accordingly. Especially for the price. But when everything is so high in quality, it's time and money perfectly spent. Yes, please, future visits cannot be avoided.

Delicious food. Had booked a table for 3:30 p.m. It seemed like we just had to quickly serve some food, eat, and the plates were - just as quickly - cleared away again.

Cozy surroundings and good atmosphere

It was definitely Denmark's best steak sandwich!! And fantastic with some Jutland tapas before the meal 😍 definitely recommended 🍔

One more down on the bøfsandwich tour. This one was definitely the tallest so far, and by looking at the pictures, I think everyone can imagine how fulfilling it was. It even made me happy with the small portion of fries 😅 The beef was super tender, the bread really fluffy, and the fried onions were “on point”. This sandwich goes into my top 3, but not to top 1, as I didn’t enjoy that much the addition of the fried pork skin (flæskesvær) to the fried onions on top.

A culinary experience. (Steak sandwich) I wanted to lick the plate clean. The steak was half Jersey and Limousine organic, with a crust fried in butter and a brioche bun so beautiful that the sauce and accompaniments could sell as a main course. Sucked every little cranberry, red onion and Dijon dressing into my mouth and experienced the old days again. Grandma's old pickled cucumber salad, the crispy homemade little delicate pork rinds, they melted in my mouth together with the brown sauce that made me addicted to my mother's kitchen pots.
