Café Fika Sønderborg

Cozy in every way. Good beer from Herslev.

Fik frokost uden for på en dejlig sommerdag. Vi fik hhv. dagens sandwich og frokostbræt. Alt frisk, fint anrettet og velsmagende. Og den flinkeste betjening. Vanskeligt at finde noget at kritisere. Vi kommer i hvert fald gerne igen.

Ein nettes kleines Café mitten in der Innenstadt von Sønderborg aber etwas abseits der Hauptstraße. Fika ist typisch für Skandinavien und bezeichnet eine Kaffeepause. Eine Pause kann man im Café Fika zu jeder Tageszeit (aber nicht an jedem Wochentag) machen, denn es gibt Brunch, Lunch, Smørrebrød oder selbst gebackenen Kuchen. Auch die Inneneinrichtung wirkt ehr nach selbst gemacht denn besonders stylisch. An den Produkten schmeckt man deutlich das selbstgemachte und so kann man hier zufrieden eine Kleinigkeit genießen.

Fika is such a typical Swedish thing that I still miss, so I was happy to see this place here in Denmark and had to check it out right away. The food is actually quite excellent and so are the drinks. The first time I came here I had to laugh though, because I thought it was a place with Swedish service staff who also spoke Swedish. But between my mediocre "Swedish accent" Danish and some English we made it work. The staff is super friendly and respectful. I wish I could come here more often than I do.

Incredibly great breakfast with wonderful service. The three of us had the Fikas brunch twice and left the café full and very satisfied. All the little bites were really delicious!
