Some of the best open sandwiches I've ever had! Had fish fillet and roast beef. All the garnishes were made from scratch and tasted really good. I was super full after two pieces. If I come to Faaborg I know where to eat next time.

Lovely lunch - we had open sandwiches: Marinated herring, roast pork and breaded fish. I don't understand the combination of a mild marinated herring with a strong smoked cheese cream. Both taste fine, together it's a miscast - in my opinion. Good atmosphere, friendly and attentive service. Count on one piece of open sandwiches for a light hunger and two for a hearty one. Not cheap, but fair prices for a good lunch café. Definitely worth a return visit.

Nice place for a small piece of bread, toast got 3 gluten free which tasted great, remember potatoes or you won't be full. Good leg workout and nice and quiet.

22/08/2025: The food wasn't particularly tasty for a specialty store, but perhaps that says more about our high standards than about comparable local quality. (I would have returned it at Lemmer, and that's a snack bar!).

16/10/2025: We stayed with our camper van during the fall break. The peace and quiet, right on the beach in the off-season, was first-class. The dog had plenty of room to run around and play in the seawater. The sanitary facilities were clean, and the reception was always very friendly. The only drawback, but unfortunately a significant one during the cold season, was the broken sauna in the on-site pool. The whirlpool bubbled nicely, but unfortunately only at normal pool temperature. Otherwise, it would have been perfect.
06/10/2025: A great spot right on the water! A very warm welcome and beautiful grounds. From here, you can go on some lovely bike rides. The site has everything you could want or need. We were here in the off-season and enjoyed the peace and quiet. On our onward journey, we were very pleased that the ferry dock was only a kilometer away, although we hadn't known this upon arriving by land – a wonderful surprise. Some of the pitches down by the water offer a view of a small harbor. We'll definitely be back!
