Cozy, warm and close. Little games make something special. Made the atmosphere better and broke the ice between us. Can only recommend the place - for the small group that just needs coffee and the warmth again.

I loved this spot!! I will dream about their blood orange drink. The meal (a salad) was flavorful and colorful! Both qualities that I always appreciate in food. The gals working, were working hard and were lovely! I enjoyed the location and orientation of tables outward towards the courtyard! This was a nice reprieve during an unusually hot afternoon!

Best croissant ever! 39 DKK (approx. €5.30) is a bit steep for a croissant by German standards. But it was worth it, and the cappuccino was delicious too.

Hotel Marienlyst

07/02/2026: Cool surroundings. Located right on the water, and you can see across to Sweden. Super delicious food and a lovely spa area
03/02/2026: When we first came in the door and went towards the reception, we were negatively surprised. All the carpets were dirty. The fabric on the sofas and chairs was dirty with stains. The sofas seemed to be broken, as you "fell" far down into a "hole" in the sofa. On the positive side, the staff was nice and helpful. It was really nice and clean in the spa area and the room was also nice and clean.
