Cafe Mandopigen Esbjerg

We went on a seal and oyster safari as a staff trip. We had an absolutely fantastic day filled with wonderful nature experiences. Poul Erik and Anja were sweet and helpful. Poul Erik is a great communicator of interesting information about wildlife and the area and very patient in answering our many questions. Huge recommendation from here.

I only ate in the restaurant. We ordered two platters of their local specialties, made with smoked fish and meat, and it was a pure delight. We enjoyed several types of meat and fish, fine and delicate. I highly recommend it. Served with a smile despite the crowds.

The seal safari was great, easy to book, fair price for the duration, and a nice skipper. We even took pictures afterward. Very satisfied, would definitely go again.

Mandøpigen B&B was worth a visit with overnight stay and delicious lunch (with local specialties) in very special surroundings. This atmosphere is only experienced in a place where the tide (big difference between high and low tide) opens and closes for unique experiences. The calm is present everywhere. Outside and inside.

We were here for lunch, we haven't eaten a better sandwich! With salmon and with ham, both were divine 🤩

Nice café with friendly service and delicious food

Jeg fik en smukt anrettet marsk- og havplatte, hvor brødet var skiftet ud med et meget velsmagende glutenfrit brød. Min mand fik den samme platte, men da han er pjattet med hellefisk, fik han det i stedet for laks. Platten var med lokale råvarer, bl.a. lam og spegepølse fra en lokal landmand, ost fra Jernved Mejeri og glutenfrit brød fra Vadehavsbageriet. Pesto og syltede kinaradiser var hjemmelavet. Alt smagte virkeligt godt. De bedste anbefalinger kan kun gives videre.

Very friendly service. The salmon sandwich was also very tasty! Definitely recommended!

During our visit to the island of Mandö, we sat in the outdoor café. The owner is really nice. We immediately felt warmly welcomed. The cappuccino was served with a beautiful layer of milk foam, which I thought was really thoughtful. I also really liked the tableware. The apple pie was a surprise because it was different to what I had expected. It was the first time I had eaten an apple pie like that, and we really enjoyed it. We found the island of Mandö very relaxing, and the café with our favorite bird as its logo was the icing on the cake. And our personal tip is the chai latte; it was the best chai latte we have ever had.
