Anyone who is looking for something special that is produced and presented with great attention to detail will feel at home here. It's a little more expensive, but the cakes and coffee were worth it to us. Thanks to the nice team!

A visit to Café Rosa is strongly recommended. Super cosy, wide selection of bread and cake as well as hot drinks. A super cozy place and even though it may seem small, there is plenty of space.

Small and charming cafe. Cozy patio in the courtyard. Nice service. This time it was just iced coffee and a jar of honey.

The food was absolutely amazing I ate the dansk snegel. It tasted fresh and sweet. The service was good as well I ordered and got my food in a couple of seconds and they were very nice to. I loved how they had decorated the place it was really cozy👍

Special place with charm and soul. Recommend their sourdough bun and a cup of coffee. One of the best cinnamon snails I've had in my life

20/08/2024: I am amused by the horrified reviews from people who apparently didn't know what they were getting into until beforehand. I mean, the place screams 80s, time warp and old routines. I can easily talk about sourdough pastries from Andersen, Juno, Alice and Hart in Copenhagen, but none of them offer what Thorsen offers; a bit of the old days. The bread should preferably be weighed on a gram scale, smeared with Kærgården butter or 3-star salami and slathered in the corner of the mouth. And the dear baker Thorsen is based on those parameters. When reviewers write about 'Denmark's worst baker', it is because baker Thorsen is probably the last one left of his kind. When Thorsen turns the key, it is a farewell to a simpler time, where everything does not have to be measured and weighed and accounted for. I recommend visiting Bager Thorsen for the total experience of the 80s baker.

24/09/2024: We found it pretty nice here. The owner, much described in other reviews, was there, but she didn't serve. There were two employees there. We're pretty sure the owner was sitting at the table at the front, right outside the indoor area. He got up often and seemed satisfied. A very nice employee served me inside. Quiet and accommodating. Location 1a. Tables were clean and the bushes around them had just been trimmed. The apple pie wasn't my cup of tea, but that's a matter of taste. Coffee with milk was great.
16/09/2024: Lovely place at Vang Harbour. Always good for a rest on your hiking tour.
