Café Vaffelhuset Ærø

We were looking for lunch on Sunday at 3:00 PM and found this place. Okay, all the other guests wanted ice cream, but we preferred something warm, like burgers… The owner was working alone, managing everything and doing a great job. The burgers were delicious (one cheese and one chicken). They took a little while, but they tasted really good. Thanks for your efforts; it made our day much nicer. Oh, and we also had ice cream. Also very tasty. Don't be put off by the decor, and always order the foam with your ice cream. We're on vacation, so things can take a little longer. 🫶

Very friendly and attentive service; today, in this fantastic weather, two people "rocked" the café with enviable calm – unimaginable in Germany. We felt very comfortable, and the ice cream was superb!

The best gelato and sorbets I’ve had in a long time! Highly recommend the mango sorbet and the salted caramel gelato!

Best ice cream ever and very friendly owner!

We dropped by rather spontaneously and were glad it was still open. The food was good, and the owner really went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. Thank you so much!
