Cafe Valentin Hillerød

Got a fish fillet with fries, really good fries, an excellent fish but a boring accompanying salad with no dressing, which I then asked for and got. Asked for a little extra remoulade (got a bette bowl) which apparently cost DKK 15.. a bit steep I think! The price for the carrot juice was listed incorrectly on the bill so I had to ask for some money back. Unfortunately, we sat by a door which either led out to the staff toilet or a goods room which smelled absolutely enormous every time the staff opened the door, it was not so delicious while sitting and eating food. Super nice staff in return.

Very nice restaurant, diverse and varied dishes, pleasant and efficient service, prices slightly above average but which is reflected in the quantity and quality on the plate. Very pleasant moment, I recommend with my eyes closed!

Cafe Valentin is a favorite place in Hillerød. The level of service is high.

Slightly poor acoustics. But service would get 10 stars if possible! My son spilled some of his milk all over our table. He was really upset, even though that's what can happen. The waiter was just the nicest and most empathetic man. He came over and wiped up where he could see my boy had become upset. So he told him it was all right and he shouldn't be upset! We just dry it up again! Afterwards he brought him 2 lollipops and said 'when you have eaten your food, you can eat them here afterwards. But only when you have eaten' My son usually wears his sunflower string, but we forgot it yesterday. But he talked all the way home about the nice man in the restaurant who made him happy again 🙏🏼 so thank you for that experience. It makes it clear that we will come again 🙏🏼

I ordered coffee and cake. A cafe in close proximity to Frederick's Castle. You can pay by card and cash. You cannot pay with BLIK. Toilet for guests is free. Fint sted til prisen, men de skal lige øve sig på at lave chai latte. Den var tydeligvis ikke lavet på de standard chai pulver og den smagt vandet.

Vi var der til Jule frokost. Super dejlig mad, det hele kom samtidigt. Personalet var søde og venlige.

We had lunch here on November 11, 2023. We were promptly greeted and seated right away. Our server was friendly and provided excellent service from start to finish. We ordered a couple of beers and then lunch. Erik had the Valentin's lunch plate and Cheryl had the goat cheese salad. The food arrived in a reasonable time frame and was well presented. The potions were quite generous. Everything was delicious and filling. This was an excellent lunch. We give this restaurant our highest recommendation.
