I love the place. My husband and I discovered it by chance today. It is authentic. The food is delicious and the price is good. You don't have to travel all the way to Italy, but you can stop by Strandvejen in Hellerup and have a wonderful dining experience.

Nice Italian buffet for pick-up and at reasonable prices. Cannillo is also one of the few places where the service is both top notch and at the same time quite entertaining. However, always arrive in good time. Good and entertaining service takes time 😊

Good sandwiches where they stuff them with all the tastiest things from Italy. So if you want a good laugh and delicious takeaway at a fair price, this is the place.

I've been wanting to visit the place for a long time and I finally came by. I stood in their shop for a long time and talked about both their food and I got the story of how the owner started in Denmark and has been in the same place for 45 years. Their sandwich is something very special and I love everything about it. I think you have to be into Italian cuisine with many flavors and many salty flavors, but I am determined. I wish I could enjoy their food every single day. A sandwich for DKK 50 where everything is homemade and you are full for the rest of the day (I had mine for lunch) you simply cannot avoid having to try. I am already planning my next visit next week. Side note - you have to order the tiramisu the day before, and it's guaranteed to be worth it too

06/02/2024: We were pleasantly surprised when we discovered this charming restaurant by chance. The atmosphere is extremely cozy and inviting. The service from the friendly waiter was excellent, accompanied by a selection of delicious wines that perfectly rounded off our dining experience. The food was of excellent quality and really impressed us.🤩

29/03/2024: Actual food, atmosphere and service.. I will definitely recommend to everyone I know. We came tumbling in from the street in everyday clothes and running shoes and yet we were received incredibly warmly. Rare in Kbh today. Nice to have a place where you feel you have to come as you are. Never before have I felt so guilty about not having the opportunity to leave a tip.
23/03/2024: They probably make the best sandwiches in Denmark. The service is good, good prices and the food is prepared quickly. Huge recommendation! Recommend especially if you choose a chicken sandwich, it's insane!
