Beautiful and elegant spot, great food, nice range of spritzers and extensive wine list. But the best part of this place is the service / team! What a lovely bunch of people! They make you feel super welcomed from the very beginning. Friendly, warm and efficient team. Food was super tasty! Had the chicken alla diavola with a side of veggies and affogato for dessert. I really don't understand the negative reviews, I found the portions generous and fairly priced. People forget that the restaurants have to pay for the rent, bills, staff's salaries and also try to make some profit. I work in hospitality myself and trust me, this ain't easy! If I'm around Copenhagen, I'll definitely come back here.

Incredible service and food. Best birthday ever!

The service was great. However the food was average, and the portion size for the pasta was very small. The acoustic was terrible, as we could hear everyone’s conversations around. This makes it very hard to enjoy your own conversation with your partner/friend. I would also point out a ventilation problem, as you enter the restaurant and are immediately surrounded by a smell of smoke, which stays in the air for the whole evening, and on your clothes too. It was also very warm as a consequence of the ventilation issue. I will not got back, as the experience was pretty unpleasant.

Overall, there are some things that work really well. Service is really good, the wine is good and the food is generally tasty, but 1. The acoustics ruin your evening 2. The room is empty of oxygen and the smell from the food lingered in the clothes the next day 3. The portions are completely skewed and a little "advice" would be in order. My partner had a (very) small pasta for main course and my lamb was huge and not served with anything else. If you order potatoes for it, you have a quantity of food that no one can eat. Adjust the sizes to fit ordinary people with ordinary bellies, otherwise say so so you know what you're getting. A bit of a shame, because there are many other things that are otherwise at play!

Fantastic place. There is a good atmosphere - wonderful service with very attentive waiters. And the food... - you can't go wrong here in the city, we had their octopus and lobsters for starters. Their pasta al vongole and their pasta ragu with lamb were al dente. Also try their lamb and braised beef. Circolo is definitely worth a visit.
