09/05/2026: A beautifully curated 9-course dining experience, combining traditional flavours with a thoughtful modern twist. Each dish was carefully presented and full of character, showcasing both creativity and respect for classic cooking.
The restaurant also offers its own label wines, which added a lovely personal touch to the experience. Of the two sampled, the white wine was particularly enjoyable and stood out more than the red, pairing beautifully with several of the courses.
The staff were exceptionally knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu, which elevated the entire evening. Combined with great company, elegant décor, and charming surroundings, the atmosphere felt warm, relaxed, and memorable.
Although the location is slightly awkward to reach, arriving at the property makes the journey worthwhile. The building itself is wonderfully quaint and full of historic character, adding to the charm of the experience.
A lovely restaurant offering refined food, welcoming hospitality, and a unique setting that feels both timeless and contemporary. @remnantsrita
01/05/2026: Found this little gem, just around the corner from H.C. Andersen House.
They had classic "shooting star" (stjerneskud) on the menu, and that I had to test.
The meal contained fried bread, cold smoked Salmon, fried Plaice, steamed Haddock, shrimps, the right amount of sauce, Asparagus, and some Dill and other greens.
And it was delicious!
I highly recommend it, and the hostess was very helpfull with answering questions, and recommending drinks.
