Review We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant and can highly recommend it! We were welcomed incredibly warmly, and even though we had not made a reservation, they were still able to find us a table. We chose the buffet and mentioned that we are vegan. We were kindly informed that it would have been better to let them know in advance, but the staff were still extremely helpful and knowledgeable about which dishes were vegan. What really stood out was how attentive and accommodating they were: one of the staff members even brought us some special vegan chutneys to our table that were not part of the regular buffet. We genuinely felt very well looked after and almost like special guests. The service was exceptionally friendly, polite, and attentive, and the food was delicious. A big thank you to the entire team for making our evening so enjoyable. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant — especially to anyone looking for great vegan options and genuinely warm hospitality!

The best vegan food we've ever had!!! The buffet is totally worth the price. Especially great for vegans. It's best to reserve in advance and let them know, so they can make sure there are plenty of vegan options at the buffet. In addition to the buffet, they also brought us a vegan potato curry and vegan chutneys. The staff explains all the dishes at the buffet and caters to allergies and dietary needs. There are even four vegan ice cream flavors.

Such good Indian food is rare! Super friendly, unobtrusive, yet attentive service. Delicious food, with each dish tasting uniquely good (we had the buffet). Many tasty, special chutneys and sauces. Their own, very drinkable beer. It doesn't get any better than this.

Really delicious buffet and extremely helpful and nice staff. There is a focus on cleanliness in the buffet and the handwriting is not there for looks so it is a safe experience to eat here. Authentic spicy but also mild dishes for those who are not into spicy food. We will definitely stop by again next time we are in town!

Great staff, great good and a great experience

We first went there when Curry Leaves had just opened. That was twelve years ago, and we're just as enthusiastic about it today as we were then! Every summer, we plan our sailing trip so that we stop in Sonderborg to eat at Curry Leaves. High quality, truly authentic dishes, superbly spiced, and very friendly service. The hostess is an angel! We recommend choosing the buffet; this is explained so that guests unfamiliar with Indian cuisine can easily find their way around. I sincerely hope this unique restaurant will be around for a long time to come!
