We just walked by and decided to come in. When we will go back home, this is where I am going to buy all the treats and take them to USA. This bakhlava is a piece of art. It melts in your mouth! Thanks God we bought a small plate- we could not stop eating it! And the biggest thing it’s not overly sweet, very mild taste. Perfect place to try Eastern sweets and buy as a gift. The owner is as sweet as his goods! Very friendly and gives out samples!

El Cava

20/07/2025: Cozy little place with a lovely terrace on the riverbank. Friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.
25/06/2025: During our last day in Copenhagen, we went into El Cava for one drink on our way back to the hotel. My wife and I ended up staying 2 hours talking with the bartenders Clara, Sophie, and a new HS graduate Mathildae. They were very inquisitive in the similarities and differences in our cultures. It was the highlight of my stay in Denmark. I was very impressed with the young adults in Denmark. Please support this bar. The beer was outstanding and my wife loved the mixed cocktails Clara prepared.
