Filippo has had this pizzeria for 32 years and the interior has a lot of soul. The pizza though, that's another level, he puts so much love and care into the food, the toppings were so balanced and delicious. Service was personalised and super friendly. Good prices for what you're getting. Overall great experience and we'll be back.

We just arrived in Odense - after a 6 hour drive from the Netherlands - and really liked to have a pizza. We thought Della Nonna was a restaurant, but when we got there, they told us it was only for takeaway. After a short conversation in Italian between the (I think, the daughter behind the counter and her father in the kitchen), we were received with open arms and a lot of hospitality. "Just sit right there, and for this time, you can eat here." I was served a delicious beer from Sicily, and all the pizzas on the menu seemed to be equally delicious. And we were not wrong about that. It truly was delicious! All the ingredients seemed to be fresh, packed with flavour. The dough was soft, and thicker than the Italian pizzas I was used too, but not too wet. The woman behind the counter also said, when she gave us the pizzas; "You never had a pizza like this before!". And she was right. If you are looking for a delicious pizza, you have to order here! And if you want to experience kindness and real Italian hospitality, you should stop by and have a chat with them aswell. Would recommend this place to anyone I know. It's almost a shame that it is just for takeaway.
