Den Gule Café - The Yellow Café Aarhus

A cozy little café with a somewhat simple but very interesting menu. I get the impression that they have selected a few but good dishes, from which they create some creative and delicious food experiences. I have been there twice, both times with my daughter. Welcoming people who are willing to make a children's dish. Good prices. Delicious food. Generally very cozy.

The yellow café is a super cozy café, it is popular and without table reservations, so you have to be quick and lucky. Their buns are super delicious, as are their cardamom rolls. However, the soft-boiled egg for my breakfast was hard-boiled, and there was a scant amount of butter with the bun. The atmosphere is lovely, and spacious. But unfortunately the acoustics are super bad. So when it is full (which is always), it is difficult to talk.

Very good espresso! Not too fruity, but round and well-balanced. Delicious pastries and friendly staff. Recommended!

Got their yogurt with compote, a BMO and granola and an iced matcha latte. The yogurt was perfectly thick and ice cold, delicious compote and homemade granola topped with olive oil - so delicious. Lovely sourdough bun with butter and a generous piece of old crunch on each side. The matcha latte tasted absolutely perfect and was a good size. Sweet service and well-visited place!

Small, tasty dishes. Nice restaurant, very nice service.

Overrated. My girlfriend and I just had to have a couple of Mardi Gras buns, a sourdough BMO and a cup of coffee each. You pay a high price for what are mediocre Mardi Gras buns. Boring almost. My girlfriend even found a hair in hers. Delicious. The coffee had already gone cold when it was served, so it was also a poor experience. The sourdough bun with butter and cheese was the only good thing about it. Three nice girls behind the counter, but still there were tables with left crockery. The cafe itself is cozy but not very spacious and it doesn't take much before it gets loud in the area. Of course they deserve another chance, just not for their Mardi Gras buns :)

Super nice food and juices and so cozy, highly recommend
