Great cheap accommodation when you want to be close to the border and the many attractions in South Jutland. The only downside is that we were promised a room with an electric kettle and there wasn't one. On the other hand, there was free coffee, tea and cocoa in the hallway on the 1st floor.

No staff, strange. Access granted with pin code. Feels weird.

Good location by the lake, clean surroundings and clean room and bathroom. Shop next door. Quiet location. Easy check-in and check-out. Parking in the courtyard is a plus. Good continental breakfast in a beautiful dining room. Really good value for money.

Definitely not handicap friendly with all the stairs. But otherwise a nice place.

We stayed here in order to attend a friend‘s wedding. The place itself is located very central. The weddings take place directly in the building, so it is the most convenient accommodation for this purpose. There is a supermarket and a bakery nearby. Furthermore there are a few pizza restaurants and barber shops around. Worth to mention is the pub nearby that is opened until deep at night. It is an old school smoker’s club with unique locals where you can get nothing but beer and shots. There’s nothing special about this place, but it has a cozy, “honest” atmosphere and is totally fine for a drink or two. The hotel itself is quite run down. Check-in is possible after 3 pm and unfortunately there is no place to lock the luggage. We did not see anyone at the reception during our stay, but the room code worked for both the room and the front door. The room is “ok”, but nothing special. Curtains were not working properly and the bed sheets did not seem to be fresh. The worst thing is the noise from the neighbours. The walls are thin like paper such that you can hear every noise. Overall the place is ok for a night or two, but don’t expect too much. Breakfast is ok and offers choice of the basic stuff you need. In my opinion it is only a 3 star hotel, so the price is not justified.

The hotel has no reception, but we have been in contact with the hotel several times, among other things because they rebooked us for another room on the 2nd floor. You get a code for the entrance door and for the room, sent by email and everything worked perfectly. The room was very clean, the breakfast was excellent, but not flashy. So all in all really nice for the price. Kim

A beautiful hotel in southern Denmark. Ideal as a base for tours to Sønderborg and the island of Als. The room was clean and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I'd be happy to return.

Very flexible check-in and check-out with code. No unnecessary luxury, the necessary is present without sacrificing comfort.

Hard mattresses in one room. Marking curtains not dark and old Velux windows. No possibility of contact with the staff during the stay. In return I have received about 8 emails?! Noisy street with traffic and mopeds until late at night. Hot milk and hot juice for breakfast and the wonderful breakfast products on the pictures on the website/booking.com are misleading. The hotel rooms are ok cozy, there is just a lot missing for me to recommend it further.
