Good accommodation. Central location. Close to the castle and Den Gamle Kro. Quietly.

Have stayed at the hotel several times, and each time a great experience. This time, however, my room was cold on arrival - and it took a long time to warm it up. The room (Joachim) is in good condition, but needs a little maintenance - a ceiling molding has come off, which is an unusually low condition for the hotel. The breakfast is super nice, the city can't boast of the large range of evening meals, but it's a short drive to Sønderborg.

We spent one night here in Suite Ingrid! I have to say upfront that I wanted this suite because it has a four-poster bed :) thank you very much for that. It was rustically furnished. We had our wedding ceremony here the next day. As a bride, I found getting ready in the morning unpleasant because the shower only had lukewarm water. I also had to mop up the lake first because the shower was leaking. The window in the bathroom also couldn't be opened. There was no warm water at all in the evening. The suite itself was spacious, looked like an apartment, right next to the four-poster room there is a walk-through room for another 2 people. There is enough space for 4 people here. I think it's great that you can park here for free. I also think it's great how the whole thing was able to be done online. You will receive a code via SMS in the morning. With this code you can get into your room and the main entrance. The reception was only partially occupied. It had a somewhat ghostly atmosphere in the evening because there was simply no one there. The place itself does not offer any places to go out or eat. It is therefore all the more disappointing that the town hall only offers breakfast in the restaurant. This was very small, but it was enough to fill you up and have a small selection. You just can't compare it with other hotels that have a breakfast buffet. But what I really have to mention is the price-performance ratio. I don't think that's true at all. It is far too expensive for what is offered plus the existing defects. The wedding the next day also lasted an unbelievable 5 minutes and you could feel the mass processing. Unfortunately, I didn't find it loving, even though I was told so positively about it. It's a shame when you consider what you come here for and it's supposed to be one of the most beautiful days. If you come here to get married, you shouldn't expect too much. On a positive note, however, guests can park for free for 2 hours directly at the town hall. There is also a flower shop right on site (smartly done) otherwise there are no restaurants or anything like that here. Registration in Sønderborg at the citizens' office went smoothly and quickly. You can also park here for free for 2 hours. It all worked brilliantly.

A simple but clean hotel in the center of Graasten. It is conducted over the Internet. This works via access codes. A bit impersonal...

I got married here. The municipality of Sonderborg did a great job. The Danish authorities are on a different level than the authorities in most other countries. It works according to the principle of “normal common sense”.
