Det Røde Pakhus Bornholm

Magical! Fantastic food and friendly service. We were there 3 times and got to try breakfast, dinner and Sunday brunch! Really good food! I wouldn't be surprised if they get 1 star in the Michelin guide

Lovely restaurant experience. The restaurant is however in a good place between fine and casual dining. Their 6 course menu is a perfect menu. Danish theme, light and elegant with a common thread throughout the service. The decor of the restaurant is casual and sounds DIY but gives the place a calm and nice environment.

On Saturday I had booked a table at Det Røde Pakhus and had pre-ordered the signature menu, which consists of a welcome, 8-course menu, and drinks menu. I had tried the signature menu in January, and in my notes I had noted, among other things, that it was beautiful servings, some exciting wine choices, and for me, definitely Michelin level. The experience on Saturday was even better, if possible. When the welcome consists of a glass of Alain Thiénot 2008 Champagne, the bar is set high. And the whole evening was lived to the highest level. I don't really want to highlight a specific dish - because was it the pan-fried lobster, was it the new Bornholm potatoes with local herbs, was it the fried foie gras or one of the two desserts? I'm glad I don't have to choose. The ending with strawberries, almonds, rhubarb and a glass of Domaine Guillaman Frisson d'Automne 2023 was a perfect ending to a thoroughly wonderful evening. Speaking of desserts, I can understand why Michelin says “Desserts are a highlight”. Det Røde Pakhus scores highly on an ambitious, varied and high gastronomic level, some really good wine pairings and a very high level of service. I would like to eat here again the next time I come to Bornholm!

There were 5 of us eating lunch, and oh my, how delicious it was. All our sandwiches were really good (I even ate potatoes and tartar) and that's a huge recommendation. And if you visit this place, it's a must to try their desserts, I even had their rhubarb and oh my, how heavenly it tasted. 10/10 experience, huge recommendation

Thank you so much for a really lovely experience. Really delicious food. We will be back. Lovely atmosphere and service. The waiter recognized us from last year. And a nice touch that the waiter called the lady by her first name. This is the third year in a row we have eaten at Det Røde Pakhus. So a huge recommendation from here.

Exciting and very tasty interpretations of Danish smørrebrød. Highly recommended

We were in Ronne for a few hours and wanted a traditional Danish meal. This one was recommended to us by a native. We had traditional Danish open-faced sandwiches called smorrebrod. They were delicious. Two of us had the shrimp, asparagus, egg variety. Two had the chicken salad. We ended the meal with tasty coffee. Our server was so friendly and accommodating, including recommendations for the rest of our day. We would gladly return!
