Another fantastic evening at Kokkenberg. We were 18 people who were spoiled in the best way Fantastic food (Thanks Niels) and the best hosting and atmosphere (Thanks Vibe and Bent). The highlight of the summer is always at Kokkenberg.

Had a very good and pleasant dinner here. We only chose two dishes and were very satisfied. The food was of the same high standard as the service. This is exactly the kind of restaurant I want to end up at when I travel.

Great place. Bent and Niels are just super nice and good hosts. Absolutely fantastic breakfast. Cozy lounge area for overnight guests, where we enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening. We will definitely return another time.

27/07/2026: Today we went to Gamle Rogeri Nexø to buy some fish to take home. Everything on offer looked incredibly appetizing! Given the rather high half-kilo price of the fresh fish, we ultimately opted for cod cakes and smoked mackerel and herring. Delicious! The smoked fish was very mildly smoked and succulent, and the cakes were the most delicious I've ever eaten! They were even gluten-free, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to eat them. I would have definitely been missing out!

17/07/2026: One of the best shooting stars I've ever had. Also the best salt-fried herring I've had on Bornholm. Cozy maritime atmosphere in the adjacent rooms.
