08/07/2025: Hotel Hostrup Review Hotel Hostrup is a charming and cozy hotel that oozes history and personality. The old building has been carefully renovated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, especially in the common areas and the restaurant. However, the rooms are on the small side, and the comfort leaves a little to be desired in some places. The air conditioning in my room did not work, and the window creaked loudly when it was open - not optimal on hot summer nights. In addition, the hotel lacks modern facilities such as a fitness room, which drags down the experience a bit for those who want to keep up their workout during their stay. The bar has a nice selection, but disappointed by not offering any IPA, which could be an obvious addition to the menu. On the other hand, the kitchen and the staff deserve high praise: the food is really delicious, and the service is both welcoming and helpful. Here you really feel welcome, and the service is top-notch. All in all, Hotel Hostrup is an atmospheric choice if you prioritize coziness and good food over modern facilities.
