The doner kebab is absolutely delicious, with good meat, fresh vegetables, and a great selection of sauces. The ambiance is world-class for a doner shop, very pleasantly furnished. The service is very friendly and welcoming, and also quick. (They also speak Russian, which helped with my broken English and non-existent Danish). Overall, a top-notch experience. Really delicious!

We are new here and are really happy to have found a real, delicious vegan alternative to the beloved "normal" döner. Also, the service is really friendly. Keep it up 🙏... (It's a shame that other restaurants don't manage to offer this alternative - it's not enough to simply omit meat to make a dish a full vegetarian dish.)

Absolutely delicious, I had the chili cheese doner. I've never had such a tasty doner before. Super friendly staff and a great place.

Cafe Mauritz

08/09/2026: We ordered a classic burger and a crispy chicken salad and both tasted really good. A cozy place and the staff are friendly, smiling and spreading a good mood.
27/08/2026: Great café with excellent food! We ate there and it was relatively quiet, which might be due to the slightly higher prices – but these are perfectly normal for Denmark. Café Mauritz impressed us completely: Taste & Presentation: The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Service: The service was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and quick. If you're in Sønderborg and looking for good food in a relaxed atmosphere, you definitely can't go wrong here. We'll gladly come back!
