Ellegaards Landkøkken Kolding

Super can only be recommended, good old-fashioned grandma food made with care, large portions

Have been there a few times before, but our 3rd visit there was really disappointing. We had shooting stars which tasted terrible. Everything on that plate was inedible. Bread was so dry that you got the feeling that it was way too old. Fish fillet was cold that you almost think it just came out of the fridge. Salmon was tough that you couldn't chew it. That was our last time there.

Great restaurant with a great view of the sea.

A charming and incredibly cozy restaurant right on the water. The service was super friendly and they speak German. There's also a small corner with toys for children. The food was excellent and extremely tasty. The portions were generous, just like Grandma used to make. The mashed potatoes are amazing! I've rarely eaten such delicious, buttery, and, above all, homemade mashed potatoes. Fantastic!

Very nice place with lovely service and great food. I had the best mashed potatoes I've ever had!

6⭐️ The food was great and just like Grandma's. The view from the outdoor terrace is fantastic.

We visited twice during our mid-August holiday: once in the afternoon for coffee and cake and once at lunchtime. Both times the food was absolutely excellent, and the service was warm, quick, and attentive. The atmosphere is also very cozy and inviting. An outstanding restaurant for such a small town – we would definitely come back!

It all took a little while... but we had time and a fantastic view of the water.

Highly recommended for dining, very friendly, super staff. Food quality a solid 10, in a word: perfect.

Both the food and the atmosphere are always fantastic and they simply have the sweetest employees!
