One of the best bakeries in town.

It's just delicious bread in a delicious shop.

Eriks Bageri on Amagerbrogade is one of the last "real" bakeries in Copenhagen. There are no fancy shortcuts or superfluous hipster vibes here - just sublime, traditional craftsmanship. The shop is extremely well-stocked. You'll find everything from classic pastries and pastries to their own homemade jams. I can especially recommend their "Sundbybrød" - it has a fantastic crumb and a crispy crust that you rarely find anymore. Important to know: They are only open Monday-Friday (05:30-17:00). Unfortunately, they are closed on weekends. There is always a big rush on Friday mornings when the local offices pick up breakfast bread, so come in good time.
