Today I went to Sunday Christmas lunch with my family, and since someone in the family has a nut allergy, I asked when ordering if it was possible, like last year, to have rice pudding without almonds. I was told no problem, but today it was not possible. I think you should keep your promise. I will have to look into other options next year.

We got fried pork, but we were there early, so the first portion was only lukewarm, but after that it was fine

Really nice place to stay. Friendly service with humor and a twinkle in the eye. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Beautiful breakfast, you feel really spoiled.

We have had food from here many times for parties etc., we have been to intimate concerts here, we have stayed at the inn and we have been to Christmas lunch here, and we are now going here soon for Christmas lunch and staying overnight there again 🤶🎅🥳🍻

We had booked the Wednesday schnitzel for two people. Unfortunately, no one really had us on their radar. Everyone else, even those who arrived after us, were well looked after; no one showed up to eat with us, even though we weren't invisible and were in plain sight... In any case, the schnitzel was super, super, superbly super. That took the edge off the invisibility. We'll be back for the schnitzel dinner next year.

A little unsettled by the negative reviews, we still ventured to fill a Friday evening with a suckling pig buffet. The online reservation went smoothly. A very friendly waitress assigned us a table for two. Our drinks arrived quickly. Yes, it was packed – as was the parking lot and the dining rooms – but the buffet was incredibly plentiful, and the potato gratin was truly delicious. The color of the dark sauce on the meat – we had to chuckle – I can't and shouldn't describe it here, but it was truly delicious! The meat was accompanied by various salads and two dressings to choose from. Even though it was packed, the atmosphere was very relaxed and typically hyggelig. We only ate here once, but we don't understand the very negative reviews. Pork rind is very salty. And for the price of the buffet, you can't expect the Ritz. We just thought it was cool and drove back to our cottage full! 🙃

It is what it is and you only get what you pay for so don't expect too much

Good buffet and plenty of food, nice staff, clean and nice. Will be back.
