Fish and chips, or a burger of that is what you prefer. Food was good and the staff friendly. A bit small menu card but the food is served within 10 minutes.

A pub on the cliffs in Denmark, doesn't fit? It does! The Fisherman's Rest is very cozy, with a wide selection of beers and a small but delicious selection of food, including fish and meat dishes. The fish and chips are sensational and so large that I couldn't finish them, and the prices are very reasonable, too. The service is very friendly and the view is fantastic, right on the cliffs with a sea view. If you're in the Løkken area, a visit is a must; I definitely recommend it!

Generous portions in a nice pub environment. However, a restaurant located a stone's throw from the North Sea should know better than to serve canned shrimp and canned asparagus with the fish... The burgers were a bit dry according to the rest of the family.

We don't often go out to eat on holiday in Denmark, but if you're in Lyngby, you should support the pub and eat here. We've been here several times on holiday and are very grateful that there's now an option to eat in the village. The staff is very friendly. The decor is quaint, just like you'd expect from a pub. There's seating outside right on the cliffs, in a kind of winter garden tent (especially nice on the often very windy days), and inside the restaurant itself. The menu is small and fine, and there's often a daily special. The prices are, as mentioned in the previous reviews, Danish prices (equivalent to +/- €25 for one dish, as of summer 2025). However, all the dishes are delicious, and the portions are really generous, filling you up. We had a small, well-behaved dog with us, which was also welcome. We were there in the off-season and didn't have a reservation, but it was still quite busy. Especially if you're coming with several people, I think it's a good idea to make a reservation and also check the current opening hours (or check Facebook, where they usually post the current opening hours). If we're in the area again, we'd love to visit again. :-)

We ate buffet at Fishermann, and it was simply a wonderful experience! Everything was homemade and full of flavor – from hot dishes to desserts. Marianne is a fantastic host who both prepares the food and makes everyone feel welcome. The atmosphere was calm and cozy, and the service impeccable. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A small, cozy pub with a surprisingly large beer selection. If you're lucky, you can sit outside in the back with a sea view. Note: Closes at 9 p.m. (at least in June) (last round at 8:45 p.m.) - you can stay until about 10 p.m. Opening days in June: Thursday to Saturday (sometimes there are private parties).

Beautiful view of the sea..beautiful places sheltered from the wind and really tasty burgers etc. Large selection of beer and very nice service..Absolutely recommended

Lovely local restaurant/bar. Staff was very friendly and the food was great. Prices were excellent too: I got a Stjerneskud (fully traditional, including the asparagus, shrimp and caviar) and a large beer for just 199 DKK (€27,-). Plenty of parking is available at the restaurant. Great place, would absolutely recommend!

Little cute pub. Food is super delicious. Portions are actually quite large. To shorten the waiting time for the children, there were coloring pages and lots of pens. You didn't have to wait long for the food. The dishes (there were 5 of us) came to the table at the same time.
