Gaja Sushi Hjørring

We visited Gaja Sushi recently and first impressions were definitely positive. The premises are bright and inviting with a cozy atmosphere that makes it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. The decor is simple and modern, and you feel welcome as soon as you step inside. The service was also one of the clear strengths of our visit. The staff were smiling, welcoming and very attentive, which always makes a big difference to the overall experience. We felt well taken care of throughout the dinner, and it was clear that they prioritized creating a good atmosphere for the guests. Unfortunately, we were less than impressed with the food itself, especially for the price. Although the sushi was fresh and tasty, we didn't think the quality lived up to the high price level. There are many good sushi places in the city, and compared to what we paid at Gaja Sushi, we expected a more exquisite experience. The portions were a bit small and the taste lacked the finesse you expect at that price. All in all it was a mixed experience. We appreciated the fine premises and the good service, but we feel that price and quality are not quite connected. If the prices matched the quality better, we would consider coming again.
