GAO Dumpling Bar København

Super cool and unexpected find as I meandered around Copenhagen. Really nice and very worldly experienced “kid” behind the counter.

The food is okay. The price and portion sizes are reasonable. But the place was dingy. Admittedly, it was busy outside, but not yet packed.

I came here on the 13th of August with my boyfriend for a quick diner because we were craving noodles 🍜 Apparently they weren’t excepting a rush so they were very few in staff. So the food took more time to come and guests were annoyed. But we would like to thank our waitresses of this evening for being so brave during this stress 🫶 the food was super tasty for the price and for the noodles we weren’t expecting such a big dish! But surprisingly it was very generous in quantity and quality! We recommend the baozi grilled :) (we didn’t really like the spicy beef pork because there was a liquorice sauce with it ??)

Good dumplings, the staff was welcoming and helpful.

It took more than 20 minutes to walk to JuJu. I went in and found that I was fooled. I saw the sign opposite and came over. It was unexpectedly good! Although the two employees were foreigners, the pan-fried dumplings, fried dumplings, and steamed dumplings served were all authentic in terms of fillings, methods, and cooking!

Very cozy place where to get some fairly priced and delicious gyoza in Copenhagen. I would recommend to go with your group of friends so that you can order more dishes and try them all out. Sides were also pretty good. There is also space to sit outside, if you wanna enjoy the nice weather!

Really delicious food - as always! Visited it in Illum. Not quite as cozy and authentic as some of the others. + A bit of a long wait despite there not being many customers. Unfortunately, several of the dishes were also sold out. It would have been great if we had been informed about the introductory offer, as we basically bought the same thing (It was on a digital sign that changed images very quickly, so we only discovered it after we had paid) It would have been great if we had been informed so that we could save a little, and not pay more for basically the same thing. :-)

Dumplings, noodle soup, and tofu were very good. Wasn’t dirty. The broth in the soup was tasty.
