Gasoline Grill København

Had their hot chicken burger and it was quite underwhelming. I’ve had their burgers with beef before and they’re great, but this time I left disappointed. It just lacked flavor, I feel like they should add more seasoning to the breading or perhaps more sauce to the burger. There are so many better chicken burgers in the city so I was quite unhappy.

You can sit at the bar and watch your burgers be made, they were super tasty, not dissimilar to a five guys essentially but very well known across Copenhagen.

OK, this review is NOT for the burgers as I don't eat red meat. I ordered a chicken sandwich and chicken nuggets and that's what this review is based on. The chicken was very heavily breaded and possibly deep fried and the nuggets were crunchy and also appeared to be deep fried, which was not to my taste. The toppings did not add much flavor. At a place with "Grill" in the title, I expected the meat to be grilled. There was more coating than chicken in the nuggets, it seemed. Also, the atmosphere was uncomfortable as there were too few seats and some individuals were each claiming two-person tables and chatting and sharing food next to each other at adjacent tables when they could have easily shared a two-person table. They glared at me when I chose to take one of the empty seats at one of their tables. A few extra chairs and tables might solve the problem.

Disappointing. I went to the original location a few years ago and stills dream about how good that burger was. This is the 6th location since the original was all. The interior was smokey from the grilling and had an off-putting smell. The burgers were fine, but nothing special. I wouldn't recommend this spot for a burger. Copenhagen is blessed with better joints.

We had cheeseburgers with fries (vinegar salt) and homemade lemonade. Delicious food, fast and friendly service.

The Gasoline Grill consists of a large counter where you sit and the food is prepared directly behind it - very authentic. The service/employees were also super nice and friendly. There is only a small selection of burgers, side dishes and drinks - but what is there is really great. If you like burgers, definitely go!

We got our food for takeaway (2 people) and unfortunately burgers were mixed, Cheeseburger was labelled as „V” and vegetarian as „C”. What wasn’t a big issue for me, for my vegetarian friend that took first bites, resulted in large discomfort and nausea after. She’s dedicated fan of Gasoline Grill, nevertheless if she would order next time, she will be triple checking „meat” product. Please make it easier to differ as pressed together buns are difficult to tell apart when the labeling is incorrect. Additionally we were missing truffle slat in our fries. (We added it in in the app-based order)

Really good service, simple vibe, and the food was solid.
