A bit disappointing roof buffet table + serving blah blah you live close to water and then you get a fish fillet instead of a plaice fillet and all the other warm dishes were either cold or lukewarm only tartlets with chicken in asparagus were hot

We made our way past Gerlev Kro & Hotel and enjoyed a 5-star lunch in the warm spring weather in the beautiful garden room. The service was friendly and welcoming and a slightly too sour elderflower drink with applesauce was easily replaced by a tasty glass of the house white wine to the lady's great satisfaction. I chose a "The Red Cow" - organic Ale with chocolate and caramel malt, 5.6% from "Mikrobryggeriet Hornbeer". The range of both hearty lunch dishes and smørrebrød etc. was welcoming and we chose the lunch dish: "4 small favourites". It was salmon with scrambled eggs, beautiful prawns, homemade chicken salad with bacon and delicious brie with sea buckthorn compote. It really tasted heavenly - chrome at its best. Nothing was spared - especially not the salmon. 5 stars are fully deserved.
