Gertz Danish Bakery Nyborg

The bakery was bustling when we stopped by at noon. Servers were friendly and happy to show us the English menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches and cardamon bun. The sandwich bread are addictive!

A truly beautiful, small, and traditional Danish bakery with an incredibly cozy, homey atmosphere. I actually ate the best cinnamon roll of my entire life here. Fresh, incredibly delicious, and exactly what you'd imagine a traditional Danish bakery to be. The service (a blonde woman around 20 years old) was also excellent. She speaks English, is extremely friendly and attentive, and immediately makes you feel very comfortable. On top of that, you hardly have to wait – the service is quick yet personal. Overall, a place where you immediately feel at ease. I will definitely come back and am already looking forward to my next cinnamon roll. Highly recommended!

Gertz delivered a beautiful birthday cake for my Dad's birthday today. The raspberry slice cake was absolutely top notch and tasted very good. Thanks for the help!

The finest in baking and pastry craftsmanship. We had two coffees and enjoyed authentic Danish pastries. Delicious! With such a tempting selection, choosing was extremely difficult. Super friendly service (even though we forgot to take a number 🤣).

Everything was soooooo delicious 😘

A really lovely café. But I only got some bread rolls.

Amazing bakery. Such delicious coffee and incredible pastries and bread. We took away lots of rolls. The seedy ones were amazing. Also wonderful that it is open on a Sunday. Great smiley service too. A perfect place for a Sunday morning chill.

Large assortment of sandwiches. Come early. The best sandwiches in Denmark!

Good coffee and tasty sandwiches. A good stop if you are going through Denmark.

The best bread and pastries on Funen without a doubt! Lovely atmosphere and you can just feel everything is made with talent, good ingredients and love.
