Ottilie & her team did everything they could to accommodate our small wedding party and make our special day amazing. The space itself is magical and the food wowed our guests. Couldn't recommend Gro more highly.

We had the 5:30 pm slot, and it was a truly special experience! We were welcomed very warmly, and overall the service team as well as the two chefs on duty that evening were super relaxed and a great fit for the venue. The farm and the rooftop greenhouse are really a highlight — you learn a lot about the idea behind the concept as well as the history of the building. Sitting at a table with many strangers is something you need to enjoy or be open to, but if you are, it can turn into a truly special evening. The food itself was really good, and each course was explained beforehand by one of the chefs. We opted for the non-alcoholic juice pairing, which honestly didn't really convince us, especially not for the price. We had a wonderful evening and it was a very special experience, but in terms of value for money we'd rank Høst in Copenhagen clearly ahead, when you look at the number of courses and portion size relative to the price. We'd recommend it as a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but wouldn't visit again ourselves.

I don't understand how this restaurant only has 4.4 stars. We had an exceptional experience here! It was a fantastic concept dinner with each of the five courses presented separately. The service was also incredibly friendly, and the location was lovely! We loved it and felt it was well worth the price (around €100 per menu). 😄

Beautiful culinary and human experience

Cool, unique Danish experience. Cozy environment, and atmosphere, but we weren’t expecting fully pescatarian menu. Everything was clearly well prepared but my husband and I are not big fish people so that was a bit of a letdown. Overall great experience though!

We visited Gro Eatery in the spring and had such a cosy experience! We joined the first communal dinner sitting and were served five dishes as part of the menu. I was especially happy to see that my lactose intolerance had been genuinely taken into consideration, with proper alternatives prepared for me rather than simple omissions. Each dish felt thoughtful and was made with fresh, quality ingredients, and we were both very pleased with the food overall. The only slight friction for me was the price compared with the very simple, communal setup. I fully understand that the food experience and focus on organic ingredients are part of what makes the concept special, but it did leave me thinking that eating this way has somehow become a bit of a luxury nowadays.

Interesting concept and very nice food. One should be open for talking to table neighbours (ours were very nice :)).
