Open-faced sandwiches on Saturday around 12:30. The restaurant is almost full. You get a lot of food, but on the average without being bad. Schulstad sunflower bread is good rye bread. The cheese plate is not one that you remember as particularly exciting.
On a lovely sibling day in our shared home, we had booked a table at Guldkronen, and the weather allowed us to sit on the most beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the water.
From the moment we walked in the door, we could feel the lovely atmosphere of the place.
The service was top notch: two sweet young people and an owner who did his part to make it a cheerful tone.
The food - the place's open-faced tapas came out quickly and that, along with Krone wheat beer and a schnapps for the fish, is highly recommended.
