I don't know what to think, is it okay for the host to stand and shout, cheers, let's get down, to get more revenue, that's cool enough. The food is ok.

On Tuesday, my sister-in-law and her husband invited me to lunch at Guldkronen in Middelfart. As soon as you entered, you felt welcome. My sister-in-law had reserved a table, and under her name, it said "Fix and finished"... if you know my sister-in-law, it's actually spot on... at another table, it said "Inspektoren", and when a single, very kind man took the place, I could only think "of course ". We had barely sat down before a smiling (almost singing) Fynbo came and asked for our orders. He knew everything about the food, and also the good schnapps that my husband and brother-in-law asked for with the herring. Our drinks were quickly served and soon after, the piece of smørrebrød we had each ordered... did I mention there is only smørrebrød on the menu?... and which smørrebrød. All with homemade jam and dressings.... I COULDN'T put my arms down if I tried because it was simple, tasty - and every mouthful was a picky one for us customers. Our sweet fynbo said goodbye to us when his shift was over, but in return we got the place an equally cordial owner. She said: Our strength is that we emphasize quality, but we don't snob up, we snob down. Frokoststop på vej fra Jylland til Sjælland. Og sikke da en positiv oplevelse. Stedet var godt fyldt op til fredagsfrokost, men vi var heldige at få et bord, endda med udsigt til vandet. Betjeningen var smilende, snak salig og effektiv. Og smørrebrødet var super lækkert. Gennemført indretning. Vi kommer helt sikkert retur, når vi en anden gang kommer den vej.
