One piece of advice is BRING EARPLUGS! There is always some noise, road noise, construction, other guests) and the walls feel paper thin. The breakfast is good but not included. The spa is worth the extra price too. If you are going to be site seeing all day it is a nice place to relax. We ate at the restaurant and the beet salad was good but the chicken breast for dinner were way over done. The beds are hard and the room is small. One person comes in the room then you need to close the door so that they can get to another part of the room then the second person can enter.

Great service! Perfect location by train (1 min walk). Lovely brekfast area with healthy food options. Twin room is small but cosy and quiet. Center of town within 15min walk.

Absolutely faultless stay - beautiful room with roof terrace, super staff, and a lovely ambience. I’ve stayed in many of the other Guldsmeden hotels in the city and they really have the guest experience perfected. Lots of thoughtful little touches and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll be back.

A mixed experience overall. Pros: The service was great, and the reception team was nice The indoor areas, the rooms, and the garden are very nicely and modernly designed Rooms are well equipped with anything needed Only a few minutes walking distance to the main train station Cons: The location has a couple of drawbacks. My initial room faced the street and was very noisy at night, though the efficient and friendly staff quickly moved me to a quiet room facing the inner courtyard, which made a huge difference. Additionally, the immediate surrounding area can feel a bit rough around the edges at times. I didn't try the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. Overall, it's a very functional, reasonably priced stay, but keep the location in mind depending on what you're looking for.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at this hotel. It is conveniently located right down the street from the train station so you do not need to walk far at all with your luggage. We appreciated the eco touch everywhere in the room. We had the room with the rooftop hot tub which was glorious to use nightly. The only room for improvement is the breakfast. While it was delicious, the options should change daily instead of serving the same every single day. Additionally, the elevator is a bit nerve wrecking. It bounces when you step into it and the doors open before you get to your floor. It is also extremely slow. Overall though it was a great stay and would come back in the future

This hotel has service very dialed in. The staff is efficient and professional and well coordinated. The rooms have lots of very very nice touches (For example, unlike most European hotels, they give you washrags! They also have fans in the room.. a life saver.). The breakfast is among the very best we've had. The fruit was actually ripe, the spinach salad was actually worth eating! All food was exceptional. It was a little design over function in some ways (like the sink in the bathroom, but we found that not annoying bc the rest was so well done.

The hotel is so beautiful!! The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was really good. And the location is wonderful - really close to the train station and in a good nice neighborhood.

The hotel is, by far, my favorite in Copenhagen. The rooms, location, style and staff are simply great. I would wish for smart-tv's in the rooms but that's in no way informing my choice. Looking forward to the next visit Frank

Axel Guldsmeden Hotel has a retro vibe to itself which makes you feel cozy in the city where wind keeps blowing. I had a chance to be with them for a 3 days Business Trip. The lunch was simply amazing. Lighting could improve in the gallery. You shouldn't book a small room as the room sizes are little smaller comparatively. And the best part is "Ecologically Green", whole hotel operates on green energy and products.

Fantastic location, allows to walk most sites. Most gorgeous and warm design and pleasant hospitality. Thank you 🙏
