04/10/2024: We stopped in for breakfast on our last day in Copenhagen. My wife had the Oatmeal with almonds, apples and caramel sauce and she liked it very much. I had mine with blueberries, hazelnuts, and almonds. It was also very good, but needed some sweetness. Also, I felt like they had too much salt in the porridge for my liking.

08/06/2024: The idea of a porridge restaurant for a Brit is a real novelty that had to be tried! This is one of a chain in Copenhagen. There is a wide choice of grain based 'porridges' and toppings. For the basic porridge you have a choice of 3 (or more) toppings; fresh fruit, nuts and a compote on the smoothest creamiest porridge I have ever tasted and yet it felt right even for a hot summer mid-morning . The coffee was good too. Danish coffee tastes watery to me, though not weak as such, and this was the best coffee I had had during my week's stay. Staff were very helpful as I took ages to make my choices and the barista brought it over when ready which wasn't a long wait. It seemed a small bowl to UK eyes, but it was really filling, delicious and nutritious. I would certainly go back on a future visit to Copenhagen.
