The staff was great and friendly, and the food was beautiful. However, I did feel that the fish cake one that I tried tasted a little stale, like it had been refrigerated for a long time. Perhaps that's how it's supposed to be, but it didn't taste fresh. I had other smørrebrød that was very fresh and delicious because it was made on the spot.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and was impressed by the salmon salad smørrebrød. The service was quick even though it was busy. Would definitely return and try their other sandwiches!

Beautifully presented traditional Danish smørrebrød, made with fresh ingredients. Certainly not a cheap lunch but very tasty indeed. I ordered the shrimp and salmon smørrebrød, 128dkk and 115dkk respectively. I also ordered the flæskesteg (roast pork sandwich) which came with 2 thick slices of pork, red cabbage and gherkins in a brioche-style bread (price 115dkk)

The staff was friendly and I didn’t have to wait so it was quickly served. I had the salmon and found it just ordinary, I didn’t get the chance to try other options but they looked good and I overheard the lady next to me who ordered the chicken salad say that she loved it and she was very happy with her choice because it was tasty.

I do like this place in Copenhagen, located in the Tivoli Food Hall. A nice variety of smørrebrød always served professionally and with a smile. Who can ask for anything more? The organic red wine is really fine, along with the schnaps I could taste. As for Hallernes Smørrebrød in the department store Magasin, or the one at Kastrup airport, they all are definitely worth the visit. I strongly recommend it.

Hallernes is a typical Danish restaurant located inside the Food Hall of the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen.
In this little restaurant you will find one of the typical Danish dishes, Smorrebrod, prepared in many different ways.
I have to say that I was satisfied.
So naturally it's a must in my opinion to try the typical local dishes when you visit a new city and for a quick snack I definitely recommend Hallernes.
Medium/high prices like the whole city.

Variety of alternative dishes and richness in terms of the content were very good. Although there is a queue, staff was quick to serve. On the other hand, I found the taste nice but ordinary when compared to the other ones I tasted in Copenhagen.
