Food was delicious. Asian inspired but with the chefs take on it. The sticky tofu and the sauce in the spicy salad were the stand out. Couldn’t pick the secret ingredient. Yummm. Service fabulous and a great place to be by the lake. Not expensive. I could have eaten there more than once but found it on our last night.

Great food, very slow kitchen. We waited for almost 1 hour to get the first serving. It gets busy, so reservations are a must.

We chose a 10-course menu that the kitchen put together. The starters were really good and then it went downhill from there. The curry was too thin and the dessert, a coconut sorbet with rhubarb, was clearly disappointing. Just take dishes from the menu instead. The staff is friendly, the premises are nice, the music is on the high end, but suited my taste fine, disco numbers in house remixes. I know I can get better food for the money elsewhere in town.

Good dining experience, but the bill quickly adds up with small dishes and small beers. There is a really good and exciting selection of dishes. We tried 11 to share between 2 people, and were very full. I wouldn't order these dishes again: Prawn Crackers Fried Squid Balinese Edamame (VG) Green Beans These dishes were okay, but nothing that would lure me back to the restaurant: Shrimp Toast Crispy Tiger Prawns Fresh Spring Rolls w/ yellowfin tuna Sticky Tofu (VG) (a bit too much pure tofu) Smashed Cucumber Salad (V) I can definitely recommend these, and would like to order them again myself: Grilled Mushrooms (VG) Spicy Pineapple Salad (VG) You sit very close together, and there is a very busy vibe. The waiters were a bit too busy, and our neighboring table had been sitting for a very long time without getting their food (miscommunication between waiter and kitchen), so it created a bad atmosphere, which also rubbed off on the rest of us. A defensive attitude from the waiter didn't help... However, our service was fine, and she was nice and accommodating.

I visited Hanzo Nørrebro on 20/5-2025, where I had this experience: From ordering our food to the first 3 dishes (2 x spring rolls and fried squid) arriving, it took 40 minutes. Then it took another 25 minutes before two baos were served, where I pointed out that we were also missing gyozas. This would be checked, but nothing more happened. It ended up that after 20 minutes I found a waiter and pointed out the missing gyozas, to which I was told that it would take a few minutes. It ended up being 7-10 minutes. These, in my opinion, are far too long waiting times for: 1. The first serving 2. Between the remaining ones are too bad and ruin my overall experience with you. I could sense that we were not the only guests who had this experience, and I just spoke to a colleague who had exactly the same experience on Tuesday last week. I am sad to leave the restaurant with this experience, as I normally enjoy Hanzo's food, but because of this service I will be very reluctant to return.

IF the review was on food only, it would be 5 stars. Food was fantastic, really really well put together & tasty. However the service was really slow. Once we actually got served, the waitresses were so friendly and lovely.

Absolutely beautiful food and wonderful people. Highly recommended!

Food was amazing , service was incredible and place is super nice. Totally recommend and also recommend taking the Experience menu!
