Hanzō Esbjerg Esbjerg

We didn't know what to expect, but were only pleasantly surprised. Hanzo Esbjerg is one of my favorite restaurants. We chose the 10 dishes to share on the table, and were completely full. Good food, with lots of flavor. Several surprises that we are not used to at home in our kitchen.

Ordered their Tuesday feast but was quickly disappointed with the selection. There were far from enough salads and not enough drinks in the ad libitum drinks. For the price the wines were not good :( I can understand the poor selection due to the price, but maybe the restaurant is just not suitable for a buffet? The restaurant was a bit packed, which also made the buffet part difficult. The waiters were nice and good at their job - however, they came around a bit too much instead of letting people enjoy their meals

We had the large menu with friends and it was just okay. The food quality was solid and good, though not surprising or perfect. Unfortunately the service that evening was quite slow, leaving long pauses between courses, and the staff were not very attentive either: we had to ask for something to drink several times; we were not asked proactively... and after being informed upon arrival that they had noticed there was a vegetarian with us, we were not given a vegetarian dish once and were asked twice more if we were at the table with the vegetarian. Unfortunately we would not recommend it for the price.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Hanzō Esbjerg – and it was a real highlight! Although we arrived a little later than planned, we received a warm welcome and prompt service. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, which made the evening enjoyable from the start. The dining experience was outstanding. The menu offers a diverse selection of Asian dishes that impress both in terms of taste and appearance. Particularly noteworthy are the Korean Fried Chicken Baos with sweet gochujang sauce and Japanese mayonnaise, and the Hanzo Curry with red curry, chicken, oyster mushrooms, green beans, and steamed rice. The beer selection is also commendable. There is a good selection of beers that perfectly complement the dishes on offer. The atmosphere at Hanzō Esbjerg is modern and inviting, with a stylish interior that highlights the restaurant's Asian inspiration. The combination of excellent food, friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere makes this restaurant a place we'd happily recommend. For anyone looking for authentic Asian cuisine in Esbjerg, Hanzō Esbjerg is definitely worth a visit.
