We recently had the pleasure of dining at Hanzō Esbjerg – and it was a real highlight! Although we arrived a little later than planned, we received a warm welcome and prompt service. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, which made the evening enjoyable from the start. The dining experience was outstanding. The menu offers a diverse selection of Asian dishes that impress both in terms of taste and appearance. Particularly noteworthy are the Korean Fried Chicken Baos with sweet gochujang sauce and Japanese mayonnaise, and the Hanzo Curry with red curry, chicken, oyster mushrooms, green beans, and steamed rice. The beer selection is also commendable. There is a good selection of beers that perfectly complement the dishes on offer. The atmosphere at Hanzō Esbjerg is modern and inviting, with a stylish interior that highlights the restaurant's Asian inspiration. The combination of excellent food, friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere makes this restaurant a place we'd happily recommend. For anyone looking for authentic Asian cuisine in Esbjerg, Hanzō Esbjerg is definitely worth a visit.

Definitely an experience that we, my brother and I, have not experienced in other good places to eat in Esbjerg! Worth a visit, but we already have plans to go to Hanzō again next time! Highly recommended: Fish Bao : Tartar sauce - yuzu - shiso - trout roe. Japanese Tartare : Beef - ponzu sesame mayo - wakame. Hanzo Curry : Chicken - red curry - mushrooms - pak choy - coconut milk and rice. To drink with: HANZO Lemonade: ginger-lemon 😋

Tasted very good, best restaurant I have visited

In connection with my work at home and abroad, I eat out probably approx. 100 days a year. I often choose Asian restaurants when possible. At Hanzō Esbjerg, I am offered a 6-course menu, and never, and I mean never, have I encountered such a tasty and successful meal. Normally I rarely give 5 stars, as in my eyes it takes a lot, but here I would have given 6 if possible. When I give this high rating, it is due to a combination of the quality of the food on all parameters – taste, texture and appearance, in addition to the servings where the food was presented, and to top it all off by the staff. Consideration was also given to the fact that I do not eat raw fish, and the chef was able to handle this to the fullest extent. All this taken into account and juxtaposed with a good price, means that the next time I come to Esbjerg, you will be able to find me at Hanzō. This is also because the envelope price stays within the financial framework I have at my job, which reflects very well what I myself would pay for a meal. I would say that the whole idea of ​​the "food club" as I read it, is fully fulfilled at Hanzō. I hope they continue this strategy so that ordinary people with a relatively low income can still have a dining experience beyond the ordinary. My assessment is based on the fact that I have a budget of up to approx. DKK 300 per day, so perhaps you will easily be able to find the same good experience for an envelope price of DKK 5-800. or more, but if I had the money, I would never spend it on a meal. Bit of a splurge, just the right level above an Asian buffet. Very friendly and service-minded staff who absolutely wanted the best for us. We had a very noisy company as a neighbour, and it cost a part of the fun. The restaurant can't do that, but it was annoying.

We ate their Christmas special dinner, with six courses where we didn't know what it entailed. It was exciting and very delicious. The restaurant is warmly and cosily decorated and the waiters are considerate
