We just went last night as a family of five with three kids under the age of five. This place was great. The service was awesome and the food was tasty. I would definitely go back!

The best Salmon Sashimi ever. Also, even though I burnt the menu, accidentally, they were absolutely friendly and nice :-) 10/10

Somewhat overrated, not bad but not really that special. I had two different rolls and neither felt like it was a whole, more like the different components. Technically they were ok but culinary not so much. Will not go again but according to their ratings other people will so your call :)

Very nice food, tables outside a bit awkward and wish they had baby chair, but lovely service, food arrived quickly and everything was delicious

Ok sushi - don’t understand the need to put mayonnaise, dressing etc on sushi.

The food at Hatoba is very delicious and well presented, some of the tastiest sushi I've had. We were given a tasting menu where the chefs had the opportunity to present the delicacies. The service in the restaurant is unfortunately not good, as the serving staff are both inexperienced and have not been told how to serve customers. Simple things like removing dirty crockery before the next serving, presentation of the food and attention to the customers were not practiced. The restaurant itself was once fancy, it's not anymore. The place is worn and therefore does not look inviting. There is a great need for painting and restoration of rooms and toilets. The takeaway customers pour into the restaurant around half past one every hour throughout the evening, giving the impression of being at the main train station during rush hour, thereby setting a hectic atmosphere in the restaurant. My recommendation is to taste the food as a takeaway, as the restaurant and service do nothing good for the otherwise excellent food.
