If you enjoy sitting by the harbor and appreciate authentic Danish fish dishes, this is the place for you. Self-service (very efficiently organized), very friendly staff with excellent English skills. The price-performance ratio is decent by Danish standards: 400 kroner for two people.

Nice staff. The food was okay, but no better than anything you could have bought in Brugsen. The food was ruined by people sitting and smoking at the tables, but of course we could have just chosen a place without ashtrays on the table, we were not aware of that before we had ordered food.

Restaurant Nerd

23/11/2025: Lovely evening at NerD. We had their Christmas lunch with 8 courses and four glasses of wine. Everything was first class. Good atmosphere, sweet and skilled service, tasty wine and incredibly good and exciting food. We would love to come back.
01/09/2025: Nerd has become our go-to place at the harbor in Frederikshavn. It's worth driving for a dining experience at Nerd.

Restaurant De 2 Have

21/05/2026: During our stay in Aalborg in 2024, we went to Grenen and had lunch in the restaurant section of "2 Have". My dog ​​was welcome on the terrace, which was much appreciated. It wasn't very crowded because many tourists had picnics or were eating in the "Bistro" section. The service was pleasant, the atmosphere was calm, and the food was delicious! A wonderful time with a beautiful view of the sea!
25/12/2025: Before or after hiking to the tip of Denmark, you can have a bite to eat and a drink at this café. There's also a restaurant, but we couldn't visit it as it was closed.
